Maths DLO

 Today in class we had to make a DLO presenting an equation that we didn't know how to do. We got into partners (I went with Grace) we compleated two maths buddy tasks to learn what to do. Once we understood what we had to do we made this video on how to do equivalent fractions so other people could learn to. I hope you like this video and learn something new.

Ghost Town (Bodie California)

 

Today Bella and I made a google drawing about a ghost town in California. It was lots of fun to do and I really enjoyed it. I liked learning all the things about it and I learnt a lot. I enjoyed researching about all the cool facts. I didn't really dislike anything. It was all quite fun for me. The most challenging bit was trying to fit all the text boxes onto the page. I don't really know what we could have done better cause we did pretty well.

Dixion House writing

 

On Tuesday the 25th of May we went on a trip to Dixon house to read to the people there because it was read a book month. We were all very nervous at the start but once we opened up a bit it got a lot easier. The thing I most enjoyed was interacting with the old people and I would definitely do it again. The bit I least enjoyed was writing this piece of work but I hope you enjoy it. :)

Dixon house visit

On Tuesday the 25th of May we went to go and read to the residents of Dixon house. First, we had to catch a bus from school to Dixon house. We then had to walk to Dixon house from the public toilets because there were no parks near the place.  We waited patiently for Mequa to arrive so we could go and see the people. After she arrived we walked with her into the lounge with our books and sat next to an old person heap of us were nervous we either had to talk and make conversation or read them a book I had two books with me I had Maccas Christmas crackers and Maccas makeover the most popular one was Maccas Christmas crackers. The thing I most enjoyed about this experience was interacting with the old people and hearing them talk about what they did when they were my age. I had a few good conversations with them. This experience made me feel really happy that I got to read and interact with them. I really enjoyed Going and socializing with the people there. It was a really good experience for me and the class as we were all very nervous at the start of the visit but I think after we all opened up it got easier. I really enjoyed the visit and I would definitely go back again.

Current events

 Hey everyone, how are you today? This morning we done the current events quiz and we had to do a poster on one of the questions. I did about the building that got evacuated in China. The thing I most enjoyed about this was reading the post about the building. The thing I least enjoyed was doing the poster.

Hey everyone, so today in class we have done some work on ANZAC One of the tasks was to make a Photo collage about ANZAC. I really enjoyed creating the layout of this poster, The thing I found challenging was linking the websites that I found each photo from but overall I found this task fun.

Hey everyone, in class we have been doing work about WW1 I decided to learn a bit of morse code the thing I found most challenging was trying to learn how to wright it on a computer
